Gulfport, a famously LGBTQ+-friendly community, will celebrate Gulfport Pride on Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the downtown area. Expect live entertainment, music and other fun, as well as a street market with more than 130 vendors. This annual event, which celebrates and showcases LGBTQ and LGBTQ-friendly people and businesses, is a fundraiser for the LGBTQ Resource Center of the Gulfport Public Library.
In addition to 130-plus local makers and small businesses taking part in the street market, many businesses along Beach and Shore boulevards are planning live music, "fun-raisers" and more fun and games. There's even a local business decorating contest, plus two main stages and, of course, a marching band.
Admission is free. Make sure to wear your colors to this exciting event!
