Top Things to Know About the PGA Valspar Championship
The week kicks off with the Publix Copperhead 5K on Sunday, March 17 at 8:00am. Professional practice rounds start on Tuesday, March 19, and on Wednesday, March 20 there is the Tampa General Hospital Championship.
On Thursday, March 21, the first round of the Valspar Championship starts, with the second round on Friday, March 22. Saturday, March 23, is Chick-fil-A Moooving Day and on Sunday, March 24, the final round is played.
This world-class PGA event has plenty of vendors and related events to enjoy in addition to the tournament itself. A mobile phone app is available to help manage tickets/parking and other information.
Entertainment
Cole Swindell will be featured at the Chick-fil-A featured concert on Saturday, March 23. No special tickets will be needed; the concert is included with a Saturday ticket or credential. The concert is from 7:00 to 8:30pm. Tournament play ends at 6:00pm, leaving time to walk to the Osprey Range for the concert. Food and drink concessions will be open during the concert.
Visit the Expo Grove vendors and register to win 2025 hospitality tickets. The Tampa Bay Times Autograph Alley will be worth a stop, and Valspar will offer a colorful experience with games and tiny houses.
Food & Drink
The Publix Chillounge will be located near the 5th and 8th greens, and Josh Cellars Wine Garden will be on the 9th green. Other vendors include Korbel, the Michelob Ultra Club, Frenchy’s Pool Party at the Clubhouse, and the Horse Soldier Lounge at the 10th green.
Parking
Parking passes are all digital and using rideshare apps such as Lyft and Uber is highly recommended as parking is limited. Shuttle buses are available from some of the lots; parking and shuttle bus details are available on the tournament website.

All tickets are digital. There are several ticket options available (some including special viewing with premium food and beverages).
