Badfins Food + Brew

Pretty neat spot right by the beach. The service was fantastic and friendly, our waitress was very quick and attentive. The pineapple drinks were great, no complaints there and very tasty. The food however was just okay. The beer cheese in the seafood chimi was off putting, not a great flavor. The honey shrimp tacos were okay, but lacked savory notes to go along with the sweetness, didn't enjoy those much after the first couple of bites. Both tacos were dripping in liquid, you could tilt it to one side and pour out and puddle on the plate. The chips and salsa were good. Some basic complaints... our table was extremely sticky. It was raining and the rocks on the exterior have poor drainage, so there were gigantic puddles of water under our feet/tables. Okay spot and I would have given more stars if it was $50-$60, but for a $100+ meal for 2, we expected a better experience.

We had such a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. A special shoutout to Stacy she was amazing! Super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her service really made our experience even better. Great food, great service, and we’ll definitely be back! Where do I start? First of all we are in town for vacation and staying right on the beach. Here in Clearwater I’ve learned a million restaurants exist. So to have great Yelp reviews and standout so much that I chose you is special! Now to the good stuff…Badfins! Constant the service was impecable! From the moment you walk up you are greeted with a warm smile and are seated immediately. The outdoor patio setup is cozy and still cool with the fans blowing even in the hot Clearwater weather. Our server Jamie was awesome. She explained to us the menu, daily specials and drink menu. She grabbed our drinks quickly, took our appetizer order as well our lunch order. The food..it came out fast, hot and fresh! My steak was cooked to absolute perfection! My girlfriend loved her chicken sandwich and the amazing crunch thin fries! The trio dip appetizers hit the spot as well. Lastly the Bad Ass Pineapple 🍍 Pina Colada was not only stunning to look at busy also tasted amazing! If you are in the Clearwater beach area take the trip over to Badfins you will not be disappointed!

We had an amazing experience at Badfins! We ordered the Hot Honey Mac & Cheese and the Badass Pineapple Bowl, and both were absolutely delicious! Everything was full of flavor and definitely exceeded our expectations. Our server, Emma, was amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and made our experience even better with her great service. Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. We will definitely be coming back! If you’re in Clearwater Beach, Badfins is absolutely worth a visit! 🌴🍍

Kathy was a great server, very attentive and prompt with service! Badfins has an extensive menu encompassing some locally sourced produce and specialities (look out for the Florida symbol on the menu!) and some great small plates and snacks. When I was in I had the coconut shrimp tacos which I can highly recommend! There is also a great drinks menu which has options for individuals and groups, both soft and alcoholic, as well as a large selection of locally sourced beers and ciders on draught. I went for the B.A.P which was immaculately presented and tasted great!
