Kapok Special Events Center

I've photographed weddings all over Florida, and Kapok Special Events is easily one of the most unique venues I've had the opportunity to work at. Everywhere I turned, I found another beautiful backdrop. Between the incredible architecture, the grand chandeliers, the gardens, and all of the little hidden corners, I left feeling genuinely inspired. It's one of those venues where you could photograph ten weddings and still find something new every time. I also want to give a huge thank you to Jasmen. We had a full photography and videography team of five people on site, and she was so welcoming, kind, and accommodating to all of us throughout the day. She was always nearby if we needed anything, worked seamlessly with all of the vendors, and truly helped make the day run smoothly. Having someone like that coordinating behind the scenes makes such a difference. As a wedding photographer, I always appreciate venues that not only photograph beautifully but also create a wonderful experience for everyone working there. Kapok absolutely does both. I can't wait for the opportunity to photograph another wedding here and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a venue that's elegant, memorable, and unlike anywhere else in the Clearwater and Tampa Bay area.

Great venue for any special occasion! We celebrated a lovely wedding for our daughter 14 years ago and this week we went back and did a shoot for a cosplay event. Jasmine was a great help and it is just so picturesque!

Jasmen helped us create a special moment! My parents met at Kapok Tree in the early 70's when he bartended and she was a waitress. So we surprised my parents with a tour of the place during our family reunion trip. So thankful to walk through this beautiful, historic venue!

A beautiful historic venue with multiple room options for hosting special events at very reasonable prices. The staff is friendly, courteous, and attentive to your needs.

I had my quince here in December and it was the best decision ever. Mrs. Jasmen was extremely helpful to me and my mother and make the planning process a tons easier. 10/10 !!
