Lake Seminole Park

What a beautiful park. It's very clean. Had a great Memorial day picnic and was surprised how many tables and pavilions that were available. We sat across from the boat ramp and were amazed by the amount of wildlife that was around.

Never the same experience twice. I come here for the shady paved walk, pine and loam-scented breezes, and am enchanted by the wildlife all the while. Gopher tortoises, black racers, alligators, soft shell turtles, Osprey, black-bellied whistling ducks, wood storks, pileated woodpeckers, limpkins, mallards, red-bellied woodpeckers, egrets, to name an assortment of friends I look for on my walks. I do wish the park systems made efforts to cordon-off the Gopher tortoise dens (as is done with sea turtle nests on the beaches and owl nests on Marco Island. I cringe every time I see unsupervised children harass them amd stick their arms and sticks in their homes. * anyway * This park is a beautiful place, sacred grounds and a setting perfect for memories in the making. It certainly has been for me for over 40 years.

Fabulous parking with great pedestrian friendly trails great for biking, hiking, skating, skipping & running. Plenty of family options to include picnic shelters, playgrounds & a dog park. Great for recreational fishing to includes easy access boat ramps surrounded by a plethora of smaller lakes. Great fun 😁

Lake Seminole Park is a mainstay in the excellent park system of Pinellas County, Florida. As with other large Pinellas parks, there is no entrance fee to visit and use the facilities of this park (exclusive of a parking fee for vehicles using the boat ramp). This park affords numerous recreational activities and is a boon to walkers and runners due to its two-mile paved trail. Amazing vistas of Lake Seminole are a bonus too.

My favorite park. You can watch alligators and birds, walk with your dog, go for a run, and enjoy a barbecue. Great place to relax and spend time outdoors.
