7/4/25 stop by to check out Neptunes where by band Finally Setting Fire use to play at in 2007 and 2008, seen so many local bands here and some Popular bands here like Ice Nine Kills, Before Their Eyes, and Eyes set to kill! Great memories here growing up! June 6, 2026 stopped by to see the old venue my emo screamo band use to play at!

All the following is my own opinion from the conversations I had and the information I gathered. Bands, Read this. This venue should be a hard pass for any bands. It is a callback to the good ol' days of exploitative venue owners, but lacking even the communication of one, in a time where Tampa and St. Pete have a thriving music scene of caring promoters and venue owners. From what I understand, this venue and the bar appears to not open at all, unless there is a show booked. So, they seem to have no local regulars, most people have no idea when the places business hours will or won't be, and they do no online promotion, or any promotion at all. Therefor, if a show is booked, the expectation is entirely on the bands to promote and get people in. However, given that the venue is a rundown dive in an area that doesn't really have many people (despite being a quaint nice little town), it is a tough sell to get anyone interested in coming out. You can see in the reviews, that for as long as ~10 years (and all the way until march of 2026 at least), the owner will open the bar, have all the bands come with their gear, and if he doesn't see a line of people outside before the show starts, he becomes irate with the bands, and closes shop. This essentially wasted about 40 combined manhours of our time to drive hours from where we live, pack up the gear, get there, unpack, only to be chastised and shoo'ed away. A simple message or phone call, or upfront communication about the expectations of this venue, would have saved all of our time. For this place to function, and by that I mean have any usefulness to music and bands, the owner needs to be very forthcoming about what this place is. This is a place with beer and a stage that you can utilize, but they will do no promotion whatsoever, and have no local regulars to support traveling bands, and that if there aren't x amount of people, he will cancel the show. The better business model would be to presell bands the tickets. This way, the owner gets his bag whether people come or not, and bands can know that they themselves need to pre ticket the show, which I would advise no one should engage with, because even if you are in great need of a stage in this area, and are willing and able to fully promote and sell tickets to get people to come out, why bother HERE, as there are plenty of much better venues with local regulars, good food, and a welcoming atmosphere that would serve your interested listeners better, and would not require this scheme, and allow you to be seen by new people. I advise skipping this venue and looking elsewhere, and if you are seeing this review after booking, it would be funny to maybe just stay home and ghost the place day of, because otherwise if you didn't sell tickets, expect to waste your gas and time.

Love this place! One of the few true venues with local music

Absolutely horrible experience. The owner was talking to the performers insanely disrespectful. Said he was going to close down the place (mind you they’re only open 2 days) because 3 people were here, then 25 people walked in and his attitude completely changed. Do not go here.

Go to great place to see a show the drinks are reasonable and the atmosphere is great I'm going to make it a point to make it here every last Friday of the month to see the live music!
