Come and see what the raves are all about. SPO brings you traditional opera with innovative sets and costumes. In the intimate, but not too small, 830-seat Palladium Theater, you'll hear our singers' voices clearly and with nuance over the fantastic St. Petersburg Opera Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Mark Sforzini. See the actors' faces and expressions clearly. Experience opera up-close and personal like you never have before. Our eighth season includes five major productions at the Palladium Theater, eight Evenings and Mornings with the Maestro programs at the Music Gallery in Clearwater and the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, and numerous smaller programs offered in our own building at 2145 First Ave. S. St. Petersburg. Resident Artists Scenes program, late night cabaret, children's programming, chamber music, and other events are scheduled for our new home. The building is also available as a rental event space.
